As an outdoor enthusiast, Amie Lucas spends as much time as possible outside, exploring new places and revisiting old favorites. Because of her love for nature, it’s no surprise that landscape photography has become her passion over the years.

Amie’s interest in photography began many years ago with her very first film camera. It wasn’t until 2013 that she decided to pursue turning her love for photography into a business.

Amie is most inspired by waterfalls, rivers/streams, and anything to do with the forest.

Within her home state, the wild rugged areas of central and western Upper Peninsula are her favorite places to shoot. Outside of Michigan, Amie’s favorite places to shoot (so far) are the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Smoky Mountains.
