Michigan’s waterfalls are a stunning blend of awe-inspiring beauty and raw power. From the thundering rush of the famous Tahquamenon Falls to the hidden gems tucked away in the state’s wild forests. These natural wonders offer breathtaking scenes for all those who seek them.

Whether it’s the springtime surge of water or the gentle, peaceful flow during the warmer months, each waterfall tells a unique story of Michigan’s ever-changing landscape.

Waterfalls are one of my favorite subjects to photograph. No two are alike and no two photographs of the same waterfall are alike. Sometimes they rage with violent waters and other times they offer contrasts of cascading water against rugged rocks and lush moss.
